Part of an ongoing series where I create an artwork about the cities I've lived in.
This piece explores a fictional narrative built around poetry and identity, portraying the city as a place where writers and ideas quietly emerge. Blending symbolic imagery with a surreal visual approach it reflects a personal interpretation of place, memory and cultural atmosphere.
Taking as its banner one of the most famous artists the city had: Amado Nervo. In addition to winking at the rumor that they want to officially change the name of the city to "TEPIC DE NERVO".
